I will add llm voice ai to your esp32 or smart hardware device
Founder and engineer building AI agents and smart hardware
About this Gig
Your hardware works. Now give it a voice and a brain. I help founders and hardware teams add LLM voice interaction to ESP32-class devices: mic, speech-to-text, LLM agent, text-to-speech, speaker, as one smooth loop.
I am the founder of ORULINK, a consumer AI robotics startup in Shenzhen. Our WatcheRobot is an ESP32-S3 desktop robot with an open SDK/API, exhibited at WTCC 2026 and WAIC 2026. Voice is its core feature, so I have already solved the problems that kill voice hardware: buffer underruns, playback stutter, streaming latency and wake/trigger edge cases.
Most projects fail at architecture, not coding: the wrong audio pipeline, unrealistic latency, or cloud costs that explode at scale. Consultation ($180) gives an async written feasibility memo and 1 follow-up Q&A round. Architecture ($550) adds the full architecture document, ESP-IDF firmware skeleton, diagrams and 7 days of message Q&A. Prototype ($1,450) adds a working voice loop on an ESP32-S3 dev board, backend code, a demo video and 14 days of support. Boundaries: no PCB/mechanical design; prototype only; nothing shipped, all digital. Async by message, no live calls; reply within 24 hours.

FAQ
Do I need to send you my hardware?
No. Everything is delivered digitally. For Prototype, you run the same ESP32-S3 dev board on your side and I deliver firmware, backend code and setup docs that you flash yourself, with my guidance by message.
Which speech and AI providers do you work with?
I'm provider-neutral — OpenAI, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Azure, Volcengine and similar services can all fit, and we choose based on your target languages, latency needs and budget. Any third-party API accounts and usage costs are in your name and paid by you.
How do you deal with stutter and slow responses?
With a streaming pipeline end to end, careful audio-queue water-level management, and chunk sizes tuned for the ESP32-S3. I won't promise a specific millisecond number — real latency depends on your network and providers — but every Architecture and Prototype engagement includes a realistic latency
Can you deliver production-ready firmware for manufacturing?
This gig's scope is prototype: a working voice loop on a dev board. Production hardening (factory flashing, OTA fleets, certification support) is a separate custom scope we can discuss after the prototype proves the concept.
What do you need from me to start?
Your board model, your microphone/speaker setup, the language(s) the device must handle, how it should trigger (wake word or button), any API accounts you already have, and whether you're starting from zero or stuck somewhere specific.
Do you do live calls or video meetings?
No — I work async, in writing, by message only. That keeps everything documented and lets me reply within 24 hours across time zones.
