I will beta read your fiction story
About this Gig
Have you written your novel and need insightful, in-depth feedback?
As a writer myself I understand the need for timely reviews and the stress of putting your work out there for all to see. I treat all works I review with care and respect, honoring the great time and effort required to bring them to life while providing constructive criticism to help them be the best they can be.
It can be hard to separate yourself from your work and to be completely objective, which is where I come in. As a writer and avid reader of science fiction and fantasy, my focus is on worldbuilding, plot, and character development. I always want to improve your own writing, keeping your unique voice intact and highlight what is working and what falls short.
What you can expect from me:
- In-depth feedback on plot, character development, and worldbuilding
- Notes on clarity, consistency, and flow
- My overall opinion including strengths and weaknesses
- Encouragement and actionable suggestions
Whatever your story, I would love to be involved in bringing your vision to life.

FAQ
What is the difference between Beta Reading and Editing?
Beta reading gives you a reader’s perspective, not a line-by-line correction. I’ll focus on story elements like pacing, worldbuilding, and character arcs, while editors focus on grammar, style, and technical polish.
Do you accept all genres?
While my focus is on science fiction and fantasy, I am open to all genres and stories. If you're unsure whether I am a good fit for your story, feel free to message me and we will work it out
How detailed is your feedback?
I’ll give you both broad impressions and specific notes tied to particular scenes or chapters. My goal is actionable advice, not just “I liked it” or “this part was slow.”
Can you provide line edits too?
My gig is strictly for beta reading rather than editing, but if I come across any errors I do tend to make in-line comments or notes. It is not my priority, but I will not ignore them either
